Earth Day 2008

Every year on April 22nd, the entire planet celebrates ‘Earth Day’. The purpose of this holiday is to promote a healthy environment for every man, woman, and child … not to mention every animal and plant!

Part of the effort is simply letting people know that the Earth isn’t our garbage can -- and that we should be able to clean up after ourselves. We can do this by recycling whenever possible and disposing our trash in responsible ways.
